Life doesn’t give you a gap these days, everyone seems stressed out, and burdened with life’s difficult problems. Sex has the good feeling factor we all know that it is also apparently the answer to happiness, longevity, a healthy mind, and a healthy body. Here is a list of benefits which should give you the wisdom to have more sex, you can thank me for later…
During sex, your body produces dopamine, a substance that fights stress hormones, and promotes the endorphins, aka “happiness hormones” and oxytocin, a desire-enhancing hormone secreted by the pituitary gland. Sex and intimacy can boost your self-esteem and happiness, too. It’s not only a prescription for a healthy life but a very happy one so sex helps you reduce the stress in your life.
2. Great for Cardio
It is a well-known fact that making love is a great form of exercise and anyone that says they do not get out of breath or feel great is lying. During intercourse, your heart rate goes through the roof and the physiological changes in your body are consistent with a workout. If you have sex three times a week for a minimum of 15 minutes, ( anything under this time is a rookie time, so you need to pump up the numbers) you’ll burn roughly 7.500 calories in a year and will be having a lot of fun in the process. Deep breathing can raise the amount of oxygen in your blood cells, and the testosterone produced during sex keeps your bones and muscles strong. Sex doesn’t burn as much energy as a non-horizontal workout for most people, either. The oft-cited statistic that “sex burns 100 to 200 calories per session” is more overstatement than science. One study found that most men burn about four calories per minute having sex, compared to more than twice that while jogging, but ill take having sex over jogging any day. Like with exercise, consistency helps maximize the benefits, so keep the fire burning.
Pumping Iron – Arnold Schwarzenegger
The greatest feeling you can get in a gym or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is… The Pump. Let’s say you train your biceps. Blood is rushing into your muscles and that’s what we call The Pump. Your muscles get a really tight feeling like your skin is going to explode any minute, and it’s really tight – it’s like somebody blowing air into it, into your muscle. It just blows up, and it feels really different. It feels fantastic. It’s as satisfying to me as, uh, coming is, you know? As, ah, having sex with a woman and coming.
3. Lowers high blood pressure
Cuddles, hugs, and sex can improve your blood pressure by reducing your diastolic blood pressure, which is, the bottom number while reading blood pressure.
4. Builds your immunity
Immunoglobulin A is an antigen that fights the flu which increases when the frequency of sex increases. So if you are trying to keep a runny nose at bay then sex is the answer to fight colds and other health problems; sex can, therefore, boost your immunity.
Apart from having lots of sex, you should still do other things that will keep immune system regulating, such as:
Getting enough sleep.
5. Healthy heart
Sex helps you burn calories but it can also improve your heart. A good sex life is good for your heart. Besides being a great way to raise your heart rate, sex helps keep your estrogen and testosterone levels in balance.
Having sex more often may help. During one study, men who had sex at least twice a week were half as likely to die of heart disease as men who had sex rarely.
6. Pain relief
Pleasure is the measure to beat out the pain. Do you experience migraines and body pain? A woman cannot use the excuse I have a headache cos you have the remedy now. Before you reach for an aspirin, try for an orgasm.
“Orgasm can block pain,” says Barry R. Komisaruk, PhD, a distinguished service professor at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. It releases a hormone that helps raise your pain threshold.
Stimulation without orgasm can also do the trick. “We’ve found that vaginal stimulation can block chronic back and leg pain, and many women have told us that genital self-stimulation can reduce menstrual cramps, arthritic pain, and in some cases even headache,” Komisaruk says. If you suffer from back pain or knee pain it’s probably best not to do any lifting positions and possibly best to consult a doctor.
7. Builds trust and intimacy
The hormone oxytocin is responsible for your happiness and love so during sex this peaks and releases most. The hormone oxytocin has said to build trust and brings couples closer together, so if there are times when there are relationship woes get romantic, spoil each other and head to the bedroom.
8. Stronger pelvic muscles
Here is an interesting one for the ladies that is for sure. Sex involves the use of several muscles; hence regular sexual intercourse can help you develop stronger pelvic muscles. Apart from those muscles having regular intercourse will strengthen the quads, your core, and the upper back. Through regular intercourse, you can also maintain a strong bladder and bowel function.
9. Improves your sleep
You ever felt sleepy after a good old session…? That is because the increased heart rate leads to increased post-coital relaxation. Sex can relax you, hence if you are already tired, the act of sex will induce sleep. If you struggle to sleep, then have sex more often.
10. You will Live longer
A healthy heart, stronger muscles, increased circulation of oxygen and happiness are some of the factors that add many years to your life. Not only that, a happy wife = a happy life…
Always remember to practice safe sex and be the gentleman you were born to be.
